The house is in a country setting, no noise no one to bother you and lots and lots of space inside and out, but you are close to all the shopping you will need, if you’re looking too unwind this is the place to go.
This worked out great for us. The 3rd floor definitely requires someone younger to navigate the spiral staircase. But we loved the creek and the living space to gather and talk at night.
We enjoyed our stay at this home to visit with family and attend Court Days. The house was great for seven of us, lots of room. The only issue we had was the falling black walnuts all over the driveway and steps. We had to park the cars out of the way so not under the falling black walnuts to prevent damage. The grounds looked great, but we had rain all weekend so could not enjoy the firepit. Thanks for a great KY weekend!
We absolutely loved the outside space! Played family games, built campfires and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The property is a great place to relax. The living space is warm and cozy. Very family-friendly.
This property was perfect for our family gathering. It was relaxing spacious and fun for the grandkids. We all enjoyed the yard and games provided very much. The inside was clean and cozy with plenty of space for all ages. We will be staying here again. Beautiful home awesome setting, just a wonderful place.
Rustic cabin located in country setting. Good communication.

Incredible stay!
It was so nice to have a quiet place to stay during a weekend of jam packed horse park activities! An easy drive from Lexington with incredible countryside views. The cabin was well maintained and cozy, we will be back!

Beautiful cabin in Kentucky! (I forgot my towel 😭)
It was amazing. I stayed there with 12 other friends from my Christian fellowship, InterVarsity from Miami University. It was awesome spending time in God’s word and fellowshipping with my friends. Beautiful cabin and a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend and would definitely consider staying here again.
We came to town for a wedding and turned it into a week of family fun. The cabin was cute and perfect for our family. It allowed my husband and I to relax after a long day of traveling and entertaining the kids, while the kids were able to burn the last bit of energy they had running around the yard! The first level allowed us to have some adult time while the kids took over the 2nd floor. They were very exited to have their own kitchen to snack all evening long! I would definitely recommend!
We come to the Winchester / Mt Sterling area every Memorial weekend for the Winchester CC golf tournament. This year, my cousin and her hubby came with us for a mini getaway. The A frame accommodated two couples nicely with separate living areas on the two floors. The fire pit was an added pleasure roasting hot dogs and relaxing. Very clean and nice accommodations.

Smell was bad on the first floor.
The first floor could not be used due to the smell of mold and mildew. There was water under the bed and the second day there was a sewer smell in the bathroom. We stayed in the upper floor with all the vents covered so as to try to keep the smell out. It worked to an extent but that left us cramped on the second floor all the time. We could not even let the kids down stairs to watch the dvds. Loved the set up just couldn’t stomach the smell. We had 2 with breathing issues who def couldn’t go near it. The grill could have also been cleaned. Would def not rent again due to not being able to use all the space.

Horrible
Well, for starters I would recommend getting the lights outside to work, or giving better instructions because no matter what we tried, they did not work. Also making it more safe for children. Also figuring out a way to organize the kitchens cause that was a disaster trying to find anything to use. Also figuring out a way to heat something other than the first floor because it was unbearably cold on the second floor but the first floor smelled so bad of mold and it was so musty that we couldn’t sleep there either. I would also recommend actually putting the beds together upstairs on the 3rd floor because one of your guests almost fell off due to instability and it not being put together correctly. None of the power sources on the 3rd floor worked either. Several fire hazards throughout. Unfortunately we will not be staying there again because the only thing we found good was the fact that you let us come early. I spent almost 1000 dollars for nothing good to say about the place, and I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be rude but I’m being honest.
