"The property was well kept, very clean, very nice staff. We had a pool view which was beautiful & you can see the ocean/mountains from there. The view was beautiful! The room was nice however the jets in the tub didn’t work. I was a bit disappointed about that because that was 50% why I booked the room however being right in front of the pool made up for it. The property is very safe & there’s cute cats that roam around. Recommend this quiet stay. It was not busy at all even though it was sailing week during my stay."

"Way too many kids if you're coming here childless! Was a bit surprised off holiday cycle including European outside of their holidays. And the kids ran wild in the main restaurant and pool area. We spent the 1st afternoon at pool and that was it because of how bad it was but beach was much more relaxing. Staff was mostly great but weird things happened like things not being brought after multiple requests, dishes missing large components or being completely different than the menu. Our room was fabulous. Food was fine not wow overall. Not really an LHW caliber hotel despite being a member."

"The place is clean... A bit dated but it was still an amazing vacation. The beach is beautiful. Most staff were friendly enough. If u like the natural vibe you're going to love it there. If you're looking for luxury then this won't be your fit. The food and amenities were great. I will definitely be returning. ❤️"

"My husband and I stayed a week in this unit. We enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed Carolyn and Trevor’s hospitality. The place was welcoming, immaculate, relaxing, well laid out, and she had some nice amenities (fruit, beverages, snacks, coffee/nespresso, etc.). We kept the front door open with screen door each morning and evening to allow the cool breeze through. We happened to be there on Good Friday. Carolyn made us both a traditional Antiguan meal. Wow! It was amazing and delicious! We would recommend their place for those that want a place that is private, yet allows you to explore and experience the culture of the country. "

"Incredible family run place with a lot of charm. Everything is thought through and the rooms very well equipped. Right by the beach and very accessible. I found it a bonus as well as it was very close to the trail that leads up to Boggy Peak (aka Mount Obama) and one can do hike up to the summit and back within 3 or 4 hours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything has been perfect for my stay here."

"It’s hard to find something else to say that hasn’t been stated in previous reviews. This place is amazing! I’ll start with the booking. The Robert’s family does it right. Our host, Andrez couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. The spacious, clean home was perfect for our large family while we awaited my son’s arrival after competing in The World’s Toughest Row. It was perfect for his recuperation as we enjoyed the spectacular views, amazing pool, and stunning beaches. The location is perfect to take in a different beach everyday and a 30 minute drive to English Harbor as we cheered on other boats coming in while enjoying the historic Nelson’s Dockyard. The property manager, Nair, was readily available and responsive when needed. Lorraine and her cleaning staff are lovely and accommodating. Your stresses will really disappear while staying at Ft. Shelley, it’s magical."
