"We loved the privacy. That is what you’re paying for here. You are completely away from the world in this little tropical dream. The pool was amazing. We also liked snorkeling at blue cave and didn’t mind that it seems to be used for tour guides. I felt better being in the ocean with a few people around. Then back to the solitude of our house. Of course there are spiders and other critters given that you are somewhere tropical. The house lizards were cute. Make sure to stock up on anything you...

"We had an Ocean view room. The room was clean and well attended.
The hotel is a resort with a couple of pools, a few restaurants and lounge. We used the lounge and Soltida,a more casual restaurant. The other two restaurants looked very nice, however quite expensive.
The breakfast buffet was very good. Large selection of western and Japanese foods.
The front desk staff was always very helpful to arrange dinner reservations and taxis. The hotel is a little bit too far of a walk from downtown, especially in the heat and humidity. There is a bus that runs to downtown however we did not use it. Taxis were inexpensive.
The hotel provided free parking as we had a rental car that we used to explore the island.
Ishigaki is definitely a nice tranquil island and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the bigger Japanese cities.

Make sure to stock up on anything you want before your stay so you don’t have to leave. Oh, also the chef is amazing and will accommodate any dietary restrictions if you notify them with enough time. "Everything was perfect, clean, simple check in, laundry on site and free bike rentals available. Plenty of parking right in front of the door throughout our stay too. There were also a ton of options for food at breakfast (which was free 🤗) wouldn’t have changed anything about this place except maybe the pillows on the beds!"
"Perfect quaint little seaside resort. They rent bikes and are only 15 mins away from Kabira Observation point. Staff are super attentive, the buffet dinner was tasty and varied. My hotel room was immaculate. Would say there’s a few bugs about (geckos, huntsman spiders) - but to be expected in a jungle based villa and very worth it for the view. The staff were very helpful in coming over quickly to help with any bug issues. Everything was clean, and the beach sunset view in the evening is amazing."
"The most incredible stay at this lovely space overlooking the water. Super friendly staff, clean, tidy and enjoyable rooms. We will be going back one day! "
"Very isolated place and old style . If you are solo not ideal and also need a car for sure as infrequent buses and little communication on this in the property . Nothing around - the hotel cafe closed and was not notified before I booked. This is more like an isolated Airbb . It’s a nice cottage inside but no front Sesk or cafe There is a cafe nearby but instant coffee and spam - place nearby is the “ beer terrace “ but also not open much . Overall I would not recommend at all and I had to move out after a day due to the challenges . Looks neglected "
