"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

The home is not only very private and well stocked with the items you need to make delicious dinners but close enough to town to eat out. The surrounding area is pure country with neighbors far enough away for privacy yet close enough to say high when you're out for a walk. Would highly recommend!!"
