"Each day of our stay gave us new views of the lake. From sunny, to misty, to snowy. A wonderland. Donner Lake is close to Lake Tahoe, but with better views (in my opinion), and near the amazing town of Truckee for sightseeing and all basic needs. Every element of the decor in this little condo is fascinating. The owner, Tor, was always helpful and responsive via text and phone. The more days we stayed, the more delights we discovered. "

The toaster was faulty and started smoking anytime we tried to use it, and additionally the fireplace wouldn't sustain a fire for us, despite having special firestarter kindling (we struck out two nights in a row despite great effort so gave up on the third night ). The good news is the central heating worked great, the cabin was very cozy and the host was very responsive anytime I reached out to communicate. Great customer service and we would definitely stay here again."
