"The young family are excellent hosts. It was a real surprise
The father is a real chef from France and the Tahitian mom has trained in hotel and speaks excellent English. They live on a small farm where they grow everything they cook. They make their own soap. The little cabin you stay in has everything you might need. Very congenial people. Every meal was an experience. I would go back in a heartbeat. Very clean and has a lovely pool

"The Hilton Hotel Tahiti was truly magical. The property itself is like a piece of art, it must have been recently renovated. At every turn there is handmade wood artwork, from the tables, to the walls, it’s a true Polynesian feel.
The location is great, near the airport, and easy parking if you rent a car.
Every staff member we came across was very friendly and made us feel at home.
The pool is large and gorgeous, with great food and drink options available.
We used the gym a few times as well which was pretty good for a hotel gym.
We stayed 6 nights in a grand balcony room, which was very spacious and it was nice having a large private deck with a view.
The restaurants are amazing. The food and drinks are not cheap, but it’s a fine dining experience. We didn’t try the breakfast buffet as it was expensive, instead we opted for the breakfast sandwiches in the lobby bar which was great. The cocktails in the lobby bar were very good.
I have an allergy to all nuts, and they took it very seriously which was nice.
Highly recommend this hotel, if we ever make it back to Tahiti we will stay here again."
"We had to cancel our reservation less than 24 hours after booking and the property would not reimburse even one night of a 3 week booking. Not helpful at all. "
"Beautiful Tahitian home, right on the beach! Small pool included. Loved the Tahitian furniture and doors!! We were only able to stay one night, but it would have been so great to stay longer - since its a 2-bedroom, it would make a really nice 4-5 day stay for 2 couples. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home right on the beach. It is exceptionally comfortable, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. Communication with the host (Hinatea)was prompt and effortless, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The home is ideally suited to accommodate three couples with ease. The location is most convenient — 35 minute drive from the airport in normal traffic, with a fabulous bakery just across the road and shopping close by. For those seeking adventure, Moby Dick is less than 2 km away, offering whale-watching and swimming excursions. We would most certainly recommend this property and very much hope to return again. Thanks Hinatea. "
