"Unbelievable service and dining. The fancy restaurant was closed for some updates but the other restaurant was unbelievably! The made something not even on the menu. The even made us a pizza and the waitress brought to the room. Spa was excellent. We were very happy! A 1st class Hotel."

"This was a great place to stay for two nights in late October and to take out and back day trips by train to Siena and Florence on back-to-back days. Very close to the train station - very convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was small, but good. Highly recommend this location! It's small, but serviced and supported very well by the staff at the restaurant. "

"It was so peaceful at the resort. It’s 3 miles outside the city wall and there are 3 taxis in town but if you reserve ahead of time, there are no issues going back and forth. Everyone was so kind and after being in some crazy chaotic touristy areas, it was nice to be somewhere calm. The room was incredible and the bed was so comfortable! Everything was beautiful and would stay again!"

"We stayed for one week at Hotel Vannucci. It has beautiful grounds with pool and a great location - just a few steps into walled city of Citta della Pieve. This hotel is a beautiful renovated villa with an indoor/outdoor bar and dining room. The breakfast buffet included is superb with fresh fruit, cereals, baked goods and eggs. Most importantly the staff are attentive and friendly. Just a gem of a hotel. Highly recommend. "

"The property was difficult to get to - road conditions are not good. Upon arrival no one answered the door so we were forced to stay in our car that evening because we could not find another hotel. We called and called and tried knocking on door etc. very bad service. We have requested a refund and have not heard back. "

"A family run operation with limited facilities, tight parking, home cooking nice but limited, pool is not heated, old stone building charming and interior has modern update including heat pump. Some dining options in town not far, but mostly it's about quiet get away and making trips to other sites."
