"We loved the hotel and staff. Did not like other guests. Strong pot smoking at exits to the hotel. Shady people walking around. Seemed like homeless encampment there the RV parking lot was located and what seemed to be a short cut to the neighboring Wendy’s. Feared for our personal property, our parked car and boat. I feel they should have security guard on premise."

"You can tell they really put a lot of effort into making the rooms look nice which they did! I wanted to buy a bottle of water, that is my only complaint that they had none. I noticed in Florida whether it’s hotels or restaurants, no matter how nice they are or not they just have a musty smell to them because of the high humidity that the state is known for. But overall, it’s a good location, clean and safe place to stay."

"Overall, we had a decent stay. The area was nice, and the property was clean overall. Having the canal right outside was a nice feature, and it’s about a 40-minute drive to an actual beach, which wasn’t too bad.There were a few minor issues during our stay. The AC wasn’t always working properly, and the hot tub had a wooden board placed over it. Unfortunately, water collected underneath the board and completely filled with mosquito larvae, which was definitely unpleasant.The listing also mentions a dock, but there really isn’t a dock—it’s more of a small bench area where you can sit by the canal. It wasn’t terrible overall, and there were definitely some positives, but there are a few things that could be improved.Unfortunately, I did have to cut my trip short because I became pretty ill, so I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the rest of my stay."
