"We had to move rooms initially as the wall heater had been left on and it was uncomfortably hot, plus there was a really bad smell (although the room looked cean). Hotel staff helpful and assigned new room without any fuss. Main negative is that half the hotel does not appear to have a lift so we had to haul suitcases up and down stairs. The second room was accessible by lift so much easier. Following that hiccup......rest of stay was very pleasant. Room comfortable and clean. Nice shower products. Amazing breakfast with loads of choice. Spent some time in pool area. Then trip into Oxford which was about 10 mins by car. Perfect location."
