Wedding weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed family time, boating on the lake, a wedding nearby, and relaxing in a peaceful environment. The hosts were responsive to questions we had prior to our trip.

Great Place!

We were in town for a wedding and family visit. Cabin was in a perfect location for us. We enjoyed the deck, fire pit, bbq. It was quiet and clean! Host communication was excellent. They even came and unlocked the door for us and gave us an extra hour to check out! Thank you so much for being great hosts!!

Lovely cabin, nice amenities!

The kitchen was great for making substantial meals (with the grill, even better) and the fire pit was set up very nice. Having two full baths was a huge plus. Everything was nice and clean, all in working order. Loved it!

Weekend trip with friends

A wonderful little cabin in the woods. A well stocked kitchen and several different games. Also had fun checking out some of the unique artwork downstairs! We enjoyed driving around the lake, stopping several places to take pictures. We really enjoyed our time with friends.

Wooded retreat

The cabin was quiet and relaxing. We were all comfortable. The setting is what you expect for a cabin - it's on the woods complete with a fire pit and marshmallows. A nice deck, perfect fire morning coffee and reading.

This is the third year in a row my college friends and I have come to the cabin on the lake. We love the cabin so much. Becca and Susan are perfect hosts and so accommodating. The cabin is so comfortable and close to the lake and local restaurants. It’s so nice to be able to come back year after year and be together in Morehead where we all met.

When we first got there I did kill 4 bugs that looked like roaches. But after that I didn’t see anything else. Overall it was very clean and nice we will be back for more stays in the future

Perfect...

This cabin was perfect for our stay. So close to the marina and hiking trails. This is a 2 story location. Steps to the kitchen level. Both floors with shower/toilet and bedroom. We love sitting outside listening to nature. Got to hear my owls! There are several games already there ranging in all skills and levels. Will definitely try to come back to this cabin again and again!!!

Perfect for our family!

The home was comfortable and just what we needed for a quick little get away! They had lots of nice little things that made the cabin feel so much more homey and entertaining. There were several games, a well stocked kitchen (including a few snacks), and they even had everything needed for a fire (including wood!). It rained most of the time we were there, so no fire for us, but we loved that it was there if we wanted it. The floors needed a better sweeping and we needed to wipe down the counter before we began prepping things. (We honestly would do that anyway.) It is possible it was vacant for a while after it was cleaned...nothing gross. Furniture was very comfortable. Word of Advice for checking in...Save the code before you drive up to the house. We had very slow internet on our phones so I couldn't get the page to load when we first arrived. Luckily my son in law had a hotspot. No problems after that!! We loved it!

The cabin was perfect for a cousin reunion. We particularly loved the balcony. We enjoyed watching the birds on the feeder during the day and listening to the night sounds after dark. The rain was an extra treat. We enjoyed cooking and eating in, rather than going out for meals. The kitchen was fully suppied with a variety of cookware and utensils. We all slept VERY well! Thank you SO much for a lovely stay.
