Cozy Cabin 1 at Cave Run Cabins near Cave Run Lake & MSU

Beautiful updated cabins located just a couple miles (less than a 5 minute drive!) from Scott’s Creek Marina at Cave Run Lake and the Daniel Boone National Forest. New furniture, linens and decor! Located across from the Fish Hatchery! We offer Four 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom cabins, plus a large cabin is also available that sleeps 8-12! Perfect for intimate weekend getaways or large groups! Cabin 1 features a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The sofa is really best for 1 adult or 1-2 children. (4 adults would be really cramped in this cabin.) Kitchenette include mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, countertop burner and sink! Full bathroom with tub. Charcoal grill, picnic tables and fire pit available for use! We are pet friendly. Please let us know if you are bringing your dogs. We allow 2 dogs per cabin at a $25 fee per pet.

Beautiful getaway

Cute little cabin with beautiful view. Was very clean and neat. There was a cozy fire pit to hang out at at the end of the day. It was a great spot to enjoy a quick getaway.

Fishing Trip

We were looking for a small place to stay for a fishing trip. The hosts were quick to answer questions regarding parking for our truck & boat The place is perfect for a couples get away or a couple and a child (our situation).

Cozy Little Place

I was in the area for a 3-day fishing trip and Cozy Cabin #1 fit the bill for me. I was clean, contained all the essentials, and was super close to lake access. The location is right-off a main road, but surprisingly quiet & peaceful. I enjoyed my stay - THANK YOU!

Property was very clean and conveniently located in close proximity to fantastic local food locations. Lots of activities as well. Location is peaceful and far enough off the road you aren't really bothered by any traffic noise. I contacted the host and got a very quick reply. We would definitely recommend both the area and the cabin!

Could be a great place to stay!

Heating not the best, bathroom and floors cold, bathroom dimly lit with one ceiling bulb. The worst was the neighbors barking dogs at all hours of the night. No sleep! Could be a really great place to stay.Bed was comfortable, everything clean and nicely organized.

Our stay was awesome. We had a small issue when we checked in and I contacted the property manager. Not only was our issue addressed immediately we were offered an additional nights stay on the house. The ladies that took care of us were both amazing and we can’t thank you enough. Checking in was a little hard simply because we didn’t know what we were doing. The cabin was well stocked and attractive. Stay in cabin one or even better #3 if you have a boat(parking is shared by cabins 1&2). There is also an outside outlet to plug in the boat as well. You are within a miles of alcohol free gas at the shell station and a boat ramp. You are pick up parking permits at the gas station. We will definitely recommend these cabins to a friend and will stay again.
