"It’s an old property with lots of character uneven floors and lots of steps it’s lovely and clean although rooms are a bit dated and some quite small has some outside rooms with private entrances We had a shower over a bath which may be difficult for some one elderly to use so I’d specify if you have any specific needs The food was good basic pub grub and breakfast was excellent Parking is easy and free for residents just make sure you register your number plate when you arrive The hotel is very central in the town so lots of places within walking distance "

"The property is very dog friendly with a dog walk opposite, the hosy is very friendly and welcoming, there is a small co-op and pub with nice food about half a mile away , the property was very clean warm and well equipped with everything you could want "

"Great house for an extended family getaway, clean and well equipped. Front, grassed garden not secure for dogs but smaller secure gravel/barked outdoor space was more than adequate for them. There were 12 of us staying and it was lovely to be able to all sit around the table and eat, play games, etc. Would definitely stay again."
