The cabin was very well equipped and spacious for a group of friends. The setting is beautiful and you really feel like you’re in another country! The hot tub and sauna was a real highlight. "We had a super summer bank holiday weekend at the lodge, it was a great for three families (11 people in total) to get together and have some fun at Moors Valley and even more relaxation in the hot tub!!!We walked both days to Moors Valley, via the back gate and forest, about 40 minutes, depending on how fast you walk, to the activity centre and Go Ape, and there was so much to do, we ran out of time over the weekend.The lodge itself was a great base, with all the amenities you would need and the hosts were very helpful, we could even get an Uber eats delivery when we ran out of Sausages for the BBQ!It provides super facilities and great location for an ‘outdoor’ weekend with family or friends."

"12 Girls stayed for a girls weekend away and the place was perfect, the girls were blown away by the house. 10/10 for everything, only suggestions on improvements could be a couple more mirrors, and the area is a quiet area so any noise past 9pm will be an issue. But all the facilities are amazing, and would stay back here in a heartbeat. Plus the landlord was great with communication which made everything super easy"

"We had a lovely stay at Galtons Cottage. Beautiful weather on the Saturday led to a long walk in Holt Heath and a stop at the small farm shop. The house was so warm and comfortable, it was easy to stay in on the windy and rainier Sunday. The hot tub was great too!"
