"Wow, what a beautiful cabin this was! It had everything we needed and more! We just so happened booked this cabin not knowing it would be blizzard like conditions during our 3 night stay. The location of the cabin was perfect for getting to/from the local ski spots. While my son in law was on the slopes, I was sledding with my daughter and granddaughter in the perfect area just steps from the front door of the cabin. It was amazing! We also made snow angels on the large wraparound deck. Check out morning we had heard on the news that roads to/from Big Bear had been closed due to weather and a down power line. Rob also messaged us with this same information and allowed us to take our time in checking out. Communication with owner was great and we always received a quick response. We will definitely be back next year! "

"Pros: great communication with owner, messages were helpful and prompt, very convenient location to ski Bear Mountain, pleasant walking in the neighborhood, very family friendly cabin. Clean accommodations, Nice toiletry products, great outdoor private patio spa hot tub, fun game room with pool table, shuffle board table and vintage arcade games ( the adults liked, the kids were not amused) . Kids loved the bunk beds, extra blankets very helpful for a cozy night. Cons: the master bed mattress was so-so, the bed pillows lumpy and cheap, bring an eye mask if you need a dark room for sleeping, the kitchen pots and pans need an upgrade-used too long, burned out light bulbs and broken random lamps here and there, not enough seating at the dinning table ( only seats 4 people at dinner table). The cabin did not have enough towels for 7-8 people to shower and use the spa/1 large towel per person. Overall, very pleasant stay 4 out of 5 stars. I would book again for the ‘average rate’ weekends for this cabin. Caution on the value of the cabin if booking a high season rate. "

"Almost perfect. Had an issue with the 2nd TV which a tech was sent to fix within a couple hours. Unfortunately he had to use my phone charger block to get it to work so I was borrowing others the whole time. The other thing was all windows and back door were found unlocked and one window of the master bedroom had the screen removed and lying on the ground outside. Poor security, but the tech said there's very little crime in the area. Doesn't justify it when the front door is locked and all you have to do is go up the back steps and open the door to get inside. Also, the glass doors on the fireplace are gingerly set in the frame and you must handle them with a light touch or they'll fall out of the track. Other than that, it was a very very nice place! "
