"I really enjoyed my stay and I love the resorts charm. The spa is excellent and Ken is a wonderful massage therapist-I request him every stay. It would be nice to see some TLC put into the exterior of the building so the outside matches the inside - new paint, fix the shingles and spruce up a bit plus new carpet in the main areas would add a lot to the property. Thank you! "

"The bed had some kind of sheet metal around the base that made a lot of noise if you bump it or move much in bed. The pillows were hard and lumpy. Lot's of traffic noise. Be aware that there is no shampoo provided in the shower. Ice machine on my floor was out of order. Harsh lighting in the room."

"Hotel is very beautiful and unique. Vallet parking was great. Restaurant waiter was inappropriate at times, front desk people were not very friendly and welcoming. Over all it’s worth to stay here for the history of its building and pool/spa was wonderful."

"We've stayed here several times and at times for more than a week. The rooms are nice size and it's a great location. My pet peeve is that the dispensers in the shower (for shampoo ect) are always empty. Otherwise, it is a good value."

"Majority of staff very friendly. It is pricey, borderline ridiculous especially the cafe and buffet. Was told that they have no local competition so can charge as much as patrons willing to pay."
