"Madama was my first hostel experience and it was great! Beds were comfortable and the location was great, about a 5 minute walk to the metro which can get you anywhere in Milan quickly. Area is safe and always people around, but quiet. Madama’s bistrot is very lively, so if you prefer a more quiet hostel this is not for you. "They hit the price point very well! The location was great and the staff was fantastic. They gave wonderful recommendations and my stay was better because of them. The sleeping conditions are fine, pretty much exactly what I was after. Nothing special and the price was the main point. I wasn’t spending much time there anyway. The continental breakfast was good!"

"Absolutely amazing hostel! Great beds, good size rooms, busy but quiet, insanely clean everywhere. Service was better than some 4* hotels I’ve stayed at, reception very friendly, housekeeping tidy up your bed and room every day. Really liked the communal area, kitchen and a patio on first floor but also courtyard on the ground just to chill and have a drink is fabulous.
