The staff is very nice and the hotel is very clean. The main thing I don't like is that the room is made of iron sheets, which makes noises that can be heard in the next door dorm.

Staying at this capsule hotel was such a unique and enjoyable experience! The capsules were modern, clean, and very comfortable, giving me both privacy and convenience. The shared facilities were spotless and well organized, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a different and memorable stay.

Nearly great just no soundproofing in metal pods

Bed was comfy but pods noisy as hell … breakfast very good , staff excellent and alittle too far away from main area but I’ve stayed in a lot worse and maybe I just hit unlucky with people staying around me …as that was my only bug bare really …lots of great food options and nice bars nearby

Great Hostel.

It was a clean, comfortable and easy to find hostel not far from the main train station and about 20min walk to plazza duomo. The staff were friendly and the self serve breakfast was delicious. There are a few comunal areas and a terrace where you can chill. The bathrooms were large with toiletries and hot water.

They hit the price point very well! The location was great and the staff was fantastic. They gave wonderful recommendations and my stay was better because of them. The sleeping conditions are fine, pretty much exactly what I was after. Nothing special and the price was the main point. I wasn’t spending much time there anyway. The continental breakfast was good!

Staff was cool. Wi-Fi was a challenge as a ‘social media hostel’. Kept getting knocked off while in my capsule space or not connecting at all. Had to go into a common area downstairs. For me- I booked a private capsule- since made of metal- the sound was like a tin can. But served the purpose. Bathrooms- definitely could have been kept up better. Always wet floors or wet towels on floor. Having continental breakfast and coffee included was nice.

Good breakfast! Great service, OK Wi-Fi, having a pod instead of a bed was kind of nice, but mattress is practically on the floor and the bathroom in the room was quite bad, so I used the one downstairs instead.

Hostel was a good choice for accommodation for 1 night. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The cubicals are little smaller for double beds especially if you have lots of luggage with you. Overall good.

Fun stay

Never stayed in a pod before. Warm welcome on arrival and free drink a bonus. Room was compact but fine for our needs. We were in a very quiet room. Bed was so comfy. Room got hot in night. Shower/toilet right next door. Breakfast next day was lovely and plentiful. Location about 25 mins walk from train station. Easy to find.

I arrived late which may have been why I was assisgned to the top pod. It is seriously dangerous climbing down from it. I need fell numerous times. Almost 40 so still pretty flexible. Once you are in your pod it’s fine and the privacy is nice. The bathroom on our floor was not the cleanest. The location is good and they gave a voucher for 10% off drinks at a local bar. Shout out to Stephen who owns the bar.

The hostel photographs better than its actual conditions; in real life, the common spaces themselves are not terribly inviting. However, the sleeping pods have more privacy than usual for a hostel-like accommodation. There's even space for your backpack inside the pod (but a suitcase would probably be too big). Having ensuite bathrooms inside the rooms is convenient. The included breakfast is limited in scope (and I recommend getting there early because they run out of a lot of things).

Fantastic staff and service

Professional and friendly staff. Positively surprised from check-in to check-out. The beds provided way more privacy than your typical hostel, breakfast was surprisingly good for the price and type of accomodation, again - the staff was really service minded and friendly. Clean and inviting dorms and common areas 24/7. Will gladly go back, and gladly pay the small up-price from the cheapest hostels in Milano. (The mattrass won't win any hospitality awards, but then again, you don't expect 'Hästens' at a hostel. Did it's job more than good enough.)

Quite a few issues with my cabin e.g. locker for belongings not working or missing hooks BUT the staff dealt with this quickly and easily. Definitely get the welcome drink - I got mine on day3 as pre-dinner prosecco - and breakfast buffet is fine even though some of the fruit put out is a bit bruised. No problems getting around by public transport or walking

Ostelzzz in Milan has a fantastic staff who are friendly and dedicated. However, the hostel falls short in a crucial area: cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms. A hostel should provide two essentials: a comfortable bed and a decent shower. Unfortunately, the shower facilities here need a serious upgrade. I urge the owners to invest in improving this aspect. This review focuses solely on the facilities and is in no way a reflection on the wonderful staff.

Sojourner in Milan

It was such a pleasant surprise to find this affordable jewel right in the center of Milan. I was able to travel to and from it via bus from the main train station. Check-in was easy. They no longer provide a drink at reception. I was provided a unique door code for my assigned dormitory as well as a door code for my individual pod. My pod was neat and as described. There was one towel and a set of clean sparkling white bedding. It was enough to suit me. I could stand completely up with plenty of headroom. The TV didn't work, but that was not a deal breaker for me seeing that there was a strong wifi that I was able to use with my phone. The shared bathroom was just a few doors away. It was clean and remained that way during my entire visit. I did visit the kitchen area located on another floor, and I found it clean and tidy. I didn't sleep well due to my inconsiderate neighbors coming in very late and talking for hours. There's little to no soundproofing. I really should have put on my earplugs, but I was afraid of not hearing my alarm clock and oversleeping. I passed on the shower and just used the towel and sink to brush my teeth and wash my face. In addition to the bath towel, I would suggest the hotel provide each pod with their own individual bath mat. The same wet and used one (not sanitary) remained on the floor. As I was leaving, I passed by the delicious looking complimentary breakfast buffet. I definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

It was OK

The staff was nice enough. The free welcome drink was kind. The bathroom was messy and since the shower is in the only bathroom for the dorm everything was wet. The lock for the locker above the bed was broken. The bed was clean and so was the bedding and towels. The mattress was comfortable. I’m 6’3” and my head touched one wall and my feet the other, so I wouldn't recommend staying if you’re taller. It was fine for one night but i don’t think I would do any more than that.

Good price and location. The bathrooms are quite dirty and the water was not very hot. The bed was comfortable but the locker did not work. Although my stuff was still there when I returned thankfully! The pictures shown on Expedia did not match the bunk I was given. I expected a single cabin but I was in the top cabin. Did not expect to have to climb. It was also quite warm in the rooms, and wasn’t too warm outside. So I can imagine would be quite unbearable in the summer. For the price though I guess it was okay. If I was to return, I would potentially stay here again and pay for a private room.

Not my cup of tea

the staff is very helpful and friendly but the price compared to the service is very poor and bad. let's also confirm that i don't like hostels in general, i gave the opportunity to this as is looked like the japanese capsules, but no door, just a curtain. the capsule was full of dust and hair. the room where i was, it was dirty, with someone's clothes around all over. The toilet dirty and smelly (mould smell) and also there looks like someone was living there. Hair colour all over the sink. the morning at 6.40 am an alarm rung for about 15 mins, when i went to check whom was that, another girl was there saying has been like that for over a week. The hostel tho is very central, near corso Buenos Aires and Porta venezia. Breakfast was surprisingly ok but remember to carry 1€ if u like an espresso
