"A fantastic stay in Ambrose. The hotel is beautiful - lovely little pool and a wonderful terrace to have a meal in the evening. All staff friendly and exceptionally helpful. Wonderful view of the chateau from our room. Perfectly located in the heart of the town, five minutes walk from the river. Highly recommended."

"Everything was great.breakfast was impressive. Parking behind the building on a quiet street and better locate before arrival. Location is right in front of the train station. Not in busy area at night time except its own restaurant."

"We enjoyed our stay in this truly historic chateau. The property has so much history that we enjoyed walking around seeing everything. The architecture is fascinating. Beautiful view of the valley from the dining room. Our room was basic but clean. Big comfortable tub. They had forgotten to change out our towels so we had to ask for fresh. Minor inconvenience. We had an excellent dinner in a beautiful room with high ceilings and a view out to the courtyard. The breakfast is ala carte and plentiful. A nice variety of eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cheese and meats. We were just there for one night driving through to Paris. It fit our needs perfectly."
