The hotel staff seemed a little surprised when I asked for additional towels. One towel looked like it had dried bird poop on it. Going to a different property to check out was different. Overall, I loved the experience of being on the rock for the night. If you're looking for modern conveniences and fancy digs, you won't find it here and that's fine. The view...

"Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. The highlight of course was learning about the history of the home and it's original owner. Very interesting and very sweet that he took the time to share it with us. What more can I say?
