"There was a calm, genteel feel to the hotel and grounds, a sense of grandeur past. The staff were helpful and polite. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast in the gardens. "We really enjoyed our stay. The location is superb, right in front of the Roman amphitheatre, just a short walk from the station. The room was very well equipped and comfortable, everything worked fine, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We noticed no noise from inside the hotel. There was some from the adjacent building site, but only during working hours and this was not a problem. If visiting Nimes again we would certainly be happy to stay here. "
