Great place for the price.

Check was very easy, and the clerk was friendly and helpful. We got in our room and was very surprised how clean it was and everything that was available, like bottled water and tea, coffee. We were there for one night and was close to the places that we wanted to go to. Great price! I would stay there again.

Getaway

This is the cutest older motel around. I called and told them we would be in late, so they arranged for our key to be in a lockbox. The room is cute, I love love love the fireplace, it is gas, so no smoke smell. It is very quiet and the staff was super friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

That's a good place for a value with convenient location, clean rooms and all needed basic amenities. Friendly stuff and pretty quiet outside. The only thing to keep in mind is that place is relatively old and has a poor noise isolation. You're going to hear almost everything what is going on in your neighbor rooms like TV, loud conversations and how people move in their rooms. Just be ready for that.

I think everything was excellent except the a/c and heater need to be updated. Some remodeling of the room with new carpet or flooring would be nice also. The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The man working there, Andy, was very friendly and accommodating.

This is my second stay at Monterey Pines. I rebooked at Monterey Pines because my first experience was great. My second experience was good. Very clean room. I felt safe there and I stayed for three nights. The only drawback was the room next to mine had an endless stream of people coming in and out, laughing,partying, and extremely loud for the late time of night. This was on my second night of stay.

Just perfect- will be back!

Just perfect! We had a late check in but service was still marvelous and we felt very welcomed and was very well taken care of by super nice Andy! We got a great room with a working fireplace, big bathtub, comfy big bed and nice pillows! We brought our dog and it is definitely dog friendly (a small fee but it was worth every dollar) Easy to park and at no charge. Will definitely be back many more times! Thanks for a great stay!

Very good for the price

First the positives: Andy at the front desk provided wonderful customer service, the room was very clean, firm bed, and the water pressure was great! Cons: minor repairs to the room needed (tub and floor, limited electrical outlets for charging devices, and the walls were paper thin (with a fully booked motel). Also, location has spotty internet, even when using the motels WiFi. All in all, it was good for one night.
