The street it is located on is a typical narrow Portugeuse street but behind a private gate is the beautiful villa on the host's property with lots of greenspace! The host is very attentive and kind. The villa was equipped with absolutely everything we needed and we appreciated the small touches like ample towels, toilet paper, fully equipped kitchen and AC. Obrigado! "

"Rental was as described. The parking in front of the house is not reserved. You can park anywhere on the street. There could be better description of pickup times for garbage. Everything else worked out perfectly in the location on the island is excellent"

"We stayed at Moinho da Areia for three days and really enjoyed it. The location is right by the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed was very comfortable, the room felt warm and inviting, and Cristina took great care of everything. It’s also a good base for exploring the island. We hope to return in the future."
