"The girl that it was at the front desk was super nice, the cleaning ladies were the best, being Americans we like a lot of towels and they gave us all the towels that we needed. "The property met all of the needs of our multi generational family. Great location easy to walk or drive anywhere we wanted to go to! I would highly recommend this location to anyone travelli ng to Sao Miguel. Easy place to get to from the airport and puts you right in the center of the island. Ribiera Grande is the bees knees!!!!"

"We stayed at Moinho da Areia for three days and really enjoyed it. The location is right by the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed was very comfortable, the room felt warm and inviting, and Cristina took great care of everything. It’s also a good base for exploring the island. We hope to return in the future."
