State feels well arranged, very bright and relaxing, with terrace 32 m², fully equipped Sunbathing, table, .... Garden nicely decorated with flowers, cacti, fig, citrus fruits, and birds for companions.
At 600 m from the beach walk of the sun, 300 m from all shops, and daily market and means of transport (SNCF and BUS).
Free parking in private property at 120 meters.
Access to this haven of peace by stairs, not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Wonderful view over Menton

The property and the garden offer a breathtaking view over Menton, which you can enjoy sitting under lemon trees. Miguel and Maria were the perfect hosts and always welcoming and helpful.We are very grateful for a wonderful week.

Paradise in Menton

Beautiful property nestled in the hills of Menton. It had all amentities that were needed. Miguel was very patient with our lack of French. The 300 m hike (as it was a hike) back to the house from the coast is not for the faint at heart but good to help refresh after a food filled day in town! Would go back for sure!

Mostly wonderful

Miguel is a wonderful host as is his wife Maria. Their bespoke room was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Exceptionally clean. We shortened our stay as we had seen all we needed in Menton. Our only gripes are the many steps to climb back up to the room if you walk into town for an evening meal. Anyone with heart/breathing difficulties would struggle with this. The garden is a beautiful spot looking out over the med, sadly the room is facing their home so privacy was an issue for us, if you dont mind that then its a perfect spot.

Menton in Springtime

Small but perfectly formed. Comfortable studio with adequate facilities situated in the garden of the owners. A private garden with numerous seats and loungers is designated for the sole use of residents of the studio. The garden areas is laid out with an abundance of flowers, shrubs, avocado tree and has a panoramic and picturesque vista over Menton and beyond to the Med. In the terraces below and enviable vegetable / fruit garden. The property is as previous reviews state, an energetic climb up the steps from the village, less so if a car is available as this can be parked nearer the house. The solution is to plan your outings and minimise the trips down to the town. Public transport is easy, cheap and plentiful along the coast as well as up to the many medieval villages which are well worth the scary journey up the twisty narrow roads which are not for the faint hearted. Maria and Miguel were very friendly and helpful. Their English is limited as our French is but communication was manageable. A delightful couple.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la location de Miguel. Nous avons apprécié la propreté du logement, le jardin et la superbe vue sur la ville de Menton. Nous remercions vivement Miguel et son épouse pour leur accueil et sympathie pendant tout ce séjour. Nous avons été surpris par l’accessibilité de la location, car Menton est une ville pentue et il faut monter quelques marches pour accéder à la location. Le calme et la beauté du lieu,nous a fait oublier son accessibilité.

Paradies für sportliche Menschen

Das Appartement entsprach exakt der Beschreibung, der Garten ein Traum, die Aussicht unglaublich, das Ehepaar Miguel und Maria sehr sympathisch und jederzeit ansprechbar!! Man muss gut zu Fuß sein, da das Haus ausschließlich über Treppen zu erreichen ist. Ansonsten ein herrlicher Ort!

Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour chez Maria et Miguel. Des hôtes trés accueillants qui proposent un petit studio charmant donnant sur un trés joli jardin avec superbe vue sur la baie de Menton. Situation idoine pour découvrir Menton, ses alentours et le magnifique arrière pays.Mention spéciale pour les bons conseils de Miguel (prendre le train plutôt que la voiture pour aller à Nice en 30 mn) :), et l' incomparable gelée au citron de de Maria :) :)

Havre de paix bien confortable au sein d'un magnifique jardin avec une vue dégagée sur Menton et la méditerranée. Des propriétaires, Maria et Miguel, chaleureux et accueillants qui font découvrir les saveurs du jardin, fruits de Miguel et confitures de Maria. Ce petit nid douillet au milieu des fleurs et des agrumes fait tout de suite oublier les 150 mètres et quelques marches pour y arriver. A recommander sans souci.

Tolle ruhige Unterkunft und sehr herzlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Zuerst muss angemerkt werden, dass man die Unterkunft nicht direkt mit dem Auto anfahren kann und man wirklich viele Treppen hoch muss (188 Stufen wurden gezählt!). Also nichts für Leute mit Gehbehinderung oder viel Gepäck. Dafür wird man mit einer tollen Aussicht belohnt, und man ist nicht direkt im Zentrum, wo es mal je nach Saison sehr laut sein kann. Wer Ruhe sucht, wird sie hier finden. Die Unterkunft wird von Maria und Miguel geführt. Wir haben nur Miguel kennenlernen dürfen. Ein sehr sympathischer, hilfsbereiter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der jederzeit hilft, aber gar kein bisschen aufdringlich ist. Anzumerken wäre, dass Miguel nur französisch und portugiesisch spricht, gefühlt die einzige Person im Ort war die kein englisch spricht, was aber kein Problem sein sollte, da man ohnehin in Frankreich besser immer Französisch sprechen sollte, weil man damit weiter kommt als mit gebrochenem Englisch. Der Zustand der Unterkunft ist gut, man hat dort alles was man braucht für einen Urlaub. Die Unterkunft war wirklich sauber, und wenn es einem nicht sauber genug ist, es waren genug Reinigungsutensilien vorhanden um was auszubessern. Die Ausstattung ist jetzt nicht modernste, aber in einem gepflegtem und stabilen Zustand. Die Innenstadt, so wie die Geschäfte sind sehr schnell erreicht. Circa 600-800m und man ist mitten im Geschehen. Absolute Empfehlung, wenn man keine Lust auf Hotels hat.
