I am requesting a full refund for this stay. The experience was unacceptable, unsafe, and far below any reasonable standard.
First, we waited about 1 hour outside because the code provided for the key locker was wrong. We tried calling repeatedly and received no answer. When we finally reached someone, the response was rude and unhelpful.
Once inside, the apartment was clearly not properly cleaned between guests. There was hair on the bed, pillows, and throughout the bathroom. The pillows were dirty/stained, the floors and walls were stained and damaged, and the refrigerator smelled strongly of fish. We could not comfortably use the kitchen and kept only water inside.
The bathroom was also unsafe. The shower handle was broken and had a sharp edge; I cut myself and bled while using it. This is a serious safety issue.
Several things were broken or poorly maintained: loose/missing furniture handles, exposed/unfinished assembly, damaged wall areas, dirty shelves, and overall poor condition. The iron was dirty, sticky, and brown, and it ruined one of my shirts when I tried to use it.
We were in Monaco for Formula 1 and had no realistic alternative because everything was full, so we were forced to stay. The apartment was dirty, unsafe, poorly maintained, and not as expected. The photos clearly show the condition. I am requesting my money back.
