"Our stay was very pleasant and breakfast was excellent. Laura and her team cook breakfast live in the kitchen every day. We had to leave early both days before breakfast time and Laura cooked breakfast for us 6 in the morning and even packed an extra breakfast sandwich for us to have on the way. Amazing people and nice homely environment."

"Wonderful place to stay! Free shuttle into the heart of Manitou Springs, so we never had to move our car. Very nice staff, beautiful rooms, and good continental breakfast. Definitely recommend staying here."
"Walton's Cottage is conveniently located to downtown Manitou Springs. We chose to drive up and down the mountain to get to this cottage, but walking or biking is totally feasible. It would be a moderate to difficult trek for most people, I assume. It is located a quiet area, and allows scenic and peaceful views of nature. The private access to a hot tub was so key to our personal weekend. Hot tub was clean and well maintained. Although we didn't cook here, the kitchen appeared to have all the basic needs for cooking. Basic toiletries, towels (shower and hot tub), linens, and coffee were all provided. Communication with the host was easy and seamless. I left something behind and the host was quick to communicate with me via VRBO about my belongings. I really appreciate the care they took to get my item back to me! We can't wait to stay here next time we come to Manitou."

"The house was lovely. Very clean and super comfortable. Beds were great! Very spacious. Quiet. Short walk to everything. With Manitou’s efficient bus system we didn’t have to drive much. I would stay here again. "

"We had a great stay. Cool, old, beautiful place with more than plenty of room to spread out. Very clean with comfy beds. Easy parking in the back. Perfect location for exploring Manitou Springs on foot. Lots of stairs (inside and outside) - I stayed on the 3rd floor and got some serious exercise. Warning to the tall people - watch your head on the stairs, through doorways, and around the front parlor chandelier - people were a bit shorter in the late 1800s when they built the place. When we arrived, there was a bit of chaos regarding a burst water line in one of the bathrooms - maintenance arrived within a couple of hours and resolved the issue quickly - good communication with the host. Overall, a fine experience. "
