Warm welcome, lovely snug

Very warm welcome. The snug was particularly lovely for reading a relaxing. Ask about 'Dicks's Drives' route - great tour of Exmoor.

Warm welcome and great location

Made very welcome by Paul and Mel, nice clean ensuite double room. My pet spaniel was made welcome too. Located in the middle of town, with good parking, Id recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porlock. Breakfast was tasty and filling, with a good choice of cooked options.

Great little hotel in Porlock

Great little hotel in Porlock, not far from the coast path. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was nice, staff were friendly. We also ate in the restaurant which did very good food.

Traditional Hotel Given Modern Makeover

The bar, restaurant and breakfast room were very tastefully decorated and furnished. Breakfast was very nice. Our room was cosy and had a sea view. Owners were friendly and helpful. All in all very good value for money.

Lovely stay

We had a great stay, we are in the restaurant for our evening meal and the food was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious and the waiting staff were so helpful, our dog even had her own sausage at breakfast. The room was clean and very comfortable, everything we needed for an overnight stay. The shower was a little tricky to use. We would certainly come back again and would recommend. 10/10!

Really welcoming

Really welcoming. Room a bit small but we knew that. Nice snug to sit in downstairs. Food was fantastic and they made a good packed lunch for walkers.

I enjoyed my stay at Lorna Doone. The food and Drink is AMAZING! My real poultry pie was out of this world and the breakfast was to die for! The owners were every nice in providing me with an adapter, which i think i lost :( My room was clean and comfortable, EXCEPT i couldn't get the heat to work. So I had a cold night :( Hence the 4 stars. I highly recommend this place.
