"An elegantly appointed fairly formal country house in a beautiful rural setting, not far from a tiny small village. The rooms are comfortable and the hosts provide a great breakfast. Access to and from the property from the A roads was interesting to say the least. Single lane “roads” for the 2 miles either side of the property require a fair degree of both caution and concentration. Some parts will barely allow a car to pass. That said, it is worth the trip. Just do it slowly!"

"Hotel needs updating. Taps on basin needs attention in bedroom comfortable bed. Used spa, lots of marks damage to walls. Needing repairs. Hot tub not working. Coffee machine not working at breakfast so brought pots but not small jugs of milk . Buffet table not refilled with pastries , not much choice. Cooked breakfast good."
