"The property is a medieval estate, recently remodeled into a hotel. Our room had ancient wooden beams- very cool. The bed was firm but tolerable, pillows too thick as is all too common. Restaurant was good, food good, service a bit slow. Breakfast was a good, standard buffet. No lunch options on site. Note there are limited amenities, but a good value for the price. Check in is all digital, and don’t forget your phone, or let it run out of power because you need it to get into your room and lobby after hours. Overall I would consider staying again"

"This is an excellent hotel. The location is fabulous, super close to everything. The rooms are beautiful, bed big and extremely comfortable and location is quiet although close to everything. Breakfast is great, good choice and quality. Staff very polite and helpful. Offside parking just a short walk, perfect to stretch yourself and dog. The executive double has a bath, great, the lovely Rituals aren't as accessible but easy to work around. The coffee machine in reception is nice, be careful, cups are machine size and when full to brim need two cups to hold, and unlike me, don't take a sip to try and reduce volume unless you are prepared for burnt mouth. Overall highly recommended this hotel."
