My wife and I had a wonderful 1-night stay at Hotel Burg Wassenberg. We felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff, from personally showing us to our room to the restaurant staff going out of their way to ensure my wife had one more schnitzel before leaving Germany. All-in-all, it was a memorable moment on our vacation, after a series of forgettable budget hotels. And the historical town of Wassenberg is worth a visit, even though it’s off the beaten path. There’s a great historical walking tour and tons of green space.

Check-in time was limited 3pn to 6pm. Delays on Le shuttle meant we wouldn't arrive until nearly 7pm. We messaged the hotel. This was not a problem for them. On arrival we checked in and obtained our room. Very spacious and comfortable. We went down for dinner and found a table on the terrace. Everything was amazing from service to food. The head waiter was chatty and engaging. Great service. Very impressed.

Ich möchte mich nach etlichen Aufenthalten in diesem Jahr und hoffentlich noch vielen zukünftigen Aufenthalten bei allen Mitarbeiter/innen sowie dem stets gegenwärtigen Chef, Herrn Savio, für die immer umsichtige und freundliche Gastlichkeit bedanken, die findet man höchst selten. Immer wieder Burg Wassenberg

Für den wiederholten Aufenthalt gibt es die volle Punktezahl! Trotz verspäteter Ankunft sehr freundliche Aufnahme und noch ein ausgezeichnetes viergängiges „Geburtstagsmenü“ um sagenhaft günstige 20,18 Euro; grosses ruhig gelegenes Zimmer mit Sitzgruppe, allen Annehmlichkeiten, bequemem französischen Bett und voll ausgestattetem Bad; opulentes Frühstück vom Buffet; stets freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal - was will man mehr, um einen dreitägigen ruhigen Urlaub in vollen Zügen zu geniessen!

Wir hatten einen Tollen Zwischenstopp mit Hund in diesem ruhigen Hotel. Das Anwesen mit Garten und riesigem Parkplatz waren ideal für einen Spaziergang mit dem Hund. Alles verlief reibungslos. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück wurde in tollen Räumlichkeiten angerichtet und präsentierte eine tolle Auswahl. Glutenfreies Brot und laktosefreie Milch wird angeboten und auf diverse Wünsche eingegangen. Wir würden nochmal in diesem Haus übernachten.

Wir haben das Hotel für ein verlängertes Wochenende genutzt. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Haus ist schön und die Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig. Das Restaurant haben wir wegen parallel stattfindender Hochzeiten nicht genutzt. Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden.

Mit allem wie immer sehr zufrieden

Inzwischen ist das Hôtel Burg Wassenberg meine bevorzugte Unterkunft bei den mehrmaligen jährlichen Familienbesuchen am Niederrhein. Ein Haus rundum zum Wohlfühlen mit persönlicher Ansprache, einem motivierten Serviceteam, sehr guter Kuechenleistung vom Fruehstuecksbuffet über Kaffee und Kuchen am Nachmittag auf der großen Terrasse mit weitem Blick über das Rurtal bis in die nahen Niederlande bis zum Abendessen im stilvollen Restaurant. Es gibt nicht einen Hauch von Kritik, hier fuehlt man sich gut aufgehoben und einfach nur wohl.

Schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Im Rezeptionsbüro wurde geraucht, die gesamte Lobby stank nach Qualm. Sehr unangenehm. Ich komme nicht wieder. Das Zimmer war klein und eng. Kaum Tageslicht.
