Our Deluxe room had the most incredibly comfortable bed and feather pillows so sleep was excellent.
We ate in the bar which was good, plentiful and really tasty - although it took a longer time to come - but that just meant it was cooked for us to order. "

"What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better.
I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks to the team for a wonderful stay. I'll be back."

Lots of little luxuries such as fresh milk in the rooms along with hand creams, automatic bathroom lighting, complimentary glass of bubbles, in a environment that is an oasis of calm. The staff were very hospitable and warm and the restaurant food was great. A really fabulous stay."
