"From arrival, the staff were not welcoming and made me feel as though I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. Throughout my stay, I found the service to be unfriendly and unhelpful.
I was also disappointed that the gym and pool were only open for a limited period during the day. This is not practical for guests who are staying in town for work and are out during standard daytime hours.
While the room itself was acceptable, there were several maintenance and convenience issues:
- The shower appeared poorly maintained and flooded the bathroom every time it was used.
- The TV reception was extremely poor, making it impossible to watch anything properly.
- Parking arrangements were also frustrating, as it was actually cheaper to use the car park at the front of the building than the hotel’s own car park.
Overall, the stay did not provide the standard of service or facilities I expected."
"Good nights stay, rooms are comfortable and fresh.
Breakfast was great, however evening meal was ok, but a little below par unfortunately.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Thanks"
"We stayed for two nights 4th and 5th June as we were attending a wedding elsewhere on 5th June. The first night was fine but on the morning of the 5th the hotel advised we would have to move rooms as they had a wedding at the hotel and the bridegroom had specifically asked for the room we were staying in. We agreed to pack our stuff up and the hotel would move to the alternative room when we left for our wedding at 1.30. All through the morning we kept getting calls from reception asking when we would be ready to move as the bridegroom had arrived and the cleaners needed to clean the room. The cleaners came to the door, another guest came to our room and reception told us we would incur a late checkout fee although we were stayin that night!! When we returned from our wedding at about 12.30 the roome key did not work for the new room and it took reception 3 attempts to give us access to our new room. This is definitely not the service expected from a hotel of this class."
