Lovely historic property in mid beach

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds in a great location. Will definitely stay here again. The only downside is that there were few food options around other than on property and those were quite expensive.

Only good for parties in room

The suite was in poor condition with a dirty rug and bad smell coming from rug. On the first night the neighbors were partying for hours with loud music and loud noises. Security was called four times and they did little until 3 AM. On the next day, I requested a change of room and no one was able to do that for us. Not a great trip.

We arrived at 10 pm on our check in date. When we got to the check in area, we were informed that our reservation was canceled by the owner of the property 4 days prior to our arrival. No prior notice was provided. No refund provided. The guy at the counter, Amal, was very helpful and tried to get us a reservation at a hotel nearby. Otherwise this was a terrible experience. I will never use expedia again.

We were misinformed the we were not booking with the hotel directly it was from a 3 party privately owned They charge me every day for cleaning that I didn’t request When calling the property manager she was rude and not helpful and would not give her last name definitely never booking again

Staff was amazing. The room was really nice. However, Prices were crazy on pretty much everything. There seemed to surcharges for everything on top of an already expensive room rate. Cleaning the room surcharges, if you want a fridge surcharge, if you checkout after 11am, surcharge, Per night pre auth fees on top of the already paid for room rate that you are supposed to get back. 23% tip included in everything regardless if service is good or not. In the hundreds of US dollars for lunch. 2 beer, hot dog, wings and 2 sandwiches.. A bit ridiculous. If money is no object to you then great place. But by far the most expensive place we have ever stayed for food and drinks. We wouldn't go back simply based on pricing. But the resort is nice and the staff is incredible. Just not the best bang for you buck. We have been to just as nice as resorts at much more reasonable pricing.
