"The location is amazing- in the jungle and facing the river. The property is clean and well maintained. Our room had a foam pad instead of a mattress, so too soft for me. I don’t know if all the beds are that way. "

"It was a bit of an adventure finding Hotel Pacifica after a long day of travel, given it is located on the far side of the river with no obvious way to cross, but after asking directions from another "gringo" we found our way across the foot bridge. The suite was fine for three adults although a bit sparse in terms of kitchen supplies. Good enough for a simple breakfast or lunch but cooking supper would've been difficult. However, a couple of decent restos on the beach solved that. The life of...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Redonda. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very accommodating and made sure all our requests were taken care of.
Diana was especially wonderful — very responsive, helpful, and did a great job making our stay smooth and pleasant.
We would definitely recommend Casa Redonda and would be happy to stay here again."

"I had a great stay here. Manuel was super accommodating and very helpful with advice and recommendations for food and things to do. The room was clean and had all I needed. The internet was not great but it was also kind of nice to be disconnected from the outside world. Would stay here again."

"We had a wonderful week in Sayulita and enjoyed coming home to this place after the day’s activities. We used the outdoor kitchen daily for our breakfast and the AC kept the room nice and cool. If you are noise sensitive, I would recommend bringing some ear plugs, as the street can be noisy at times (I believe there is construction going on in the area st the time of our stay). There’s a little shop at the bottom of the hill where we got our water, drinks and produce from so that was really...

"The apartment was clean, comfortable and good location in the marina. The view from windows and balcony are not great. You’re basically facing a wall of the neighboring building with a small view of the marina. Sun shines hot on balcony the entire afternoon. Not a lot of privacy between balconies on both sides. The only real complaint I have is that the patio on the roof is not open until 9:00 am which did not allow the viewing of sunrise at 7:20 am. Didn’t swim in the pool. "

"I am just going to give this hotel an across the board score of terrible because they were unwilling to refund our money or give us a credit. The dates of our stay was just days after the unrest due to the killing of the drug cartel leader. The area was a level 3 travel advisory. Cruise ships made the decision not to stop in that port. Airlines were still flying and hotels were open but of course they were, they just want to make money. They don't care about the safety of their travelers. United airlines was willing to give us an airline credit but we lost a lot of money on the hotel. I think this was a very bad PR move on behalf of the hotel. Because now no longer will we never give them our business but we will tell our friends and family about our bad experience. When we learned we were not going to get a refund we tried to gift our stay to someone else. No one was willing to take a free stay in Puerto Vallarta. So we went somewhere else but kept our reservation at the hotel. Since we were not going to get our money back anyway, we at least wanted to prevent the hotel from booking it to someone else and earning double money on it. "
"The food was great, easy to book excursions through, resort was SPOTLESS! Plenty of staff and all were extremely friendly. Amazing parties! Do not skip the neon party! "

"Best hotel in this price range. The pools are very unique and one of a kind. All the bartenders are amazing. Not much night life, but you can assure yourself that you will be relaxing and feel rejuvenated after your vacation. "
"I stay in PV every 5 months or so. Never have I stayed at a resort as rundown as this one. Though the pool area was immaculate (cannot drink in pool unless you bring your own cup with lid). The rest of the resort needs much improvement
WE moved resorts after 2 nights on my own dime as they were no help at Front Desk
1) No hot water in shower for 2 days , another patron told me theirs was scalding hot and could not cool it down
2) so many fruit flies in room , when we went to front desk did not get any assistance. Asked to change rooms and they were just as bad , they were coming out of the sink and shower drains
3) no fridges in room
4) food at buffet was ineatible , limited choices and cold
5) none of the reg drinks were available like other resorts , very limited and some on the board they couldn’t make as they were out of ingredients
6) My duvet cover had Stains on it so unsure about rest of bedding
This resort should charge a lot less in comparison to others based on wha others offer for same price
