"This hotel is close to restaurants and walking distance to a coffee shop. The take to go breakfast was nice, we could grab something and get on the road. Beautiful sunsets and a fun orientation video of the area at dusk."

"I loved the view! The room was more than we expected, it was larg and clean. The beach access was a 2 min walk. The breakfast was good for hotel food. The only thing I could complain about; we were there 5 days and house keeping didn't even ask if we wanted fresh towels we had to ask for them. They didn't come to the room at all and there was nothing to hang on the door saying we needed them. Other wise we loved our stay we loved the view and we loved the beach near the hotel."

"We loved staying at the Whaleshead Beach Resort! The cottage was clean and welcoming. Views from the deck and the inside were lovely. Having such beautiful scenery all around us was a real treat. The Brookings area has so much to offer and this was a nice home base to. Contacting the host was easy and check in was smooth. The cottage is seems best for 2 people; the upstairs is small and the ceiling is low enough that an adult cannot stand up. There is a bed up there though, which was comfortable for me to lay on for reading. The kitchen could have been better equipped and the stove burners all seemed to be set too high. We were able to make simple breakfasts and dinners, but not the kind of cooking I'm used to. We would come again for the quaint charm, lovely surroundings and cozy home base. Thank you for sharing your property."

"We had a perfect stay here. The place is private with an excellent view of the town, river, harbor, ocean. Well equipped, nicely appointed, very well stocked with everything we could possibly have needed! Nights were quiet and peaceful, the bed comfortable and I love the nice cold fridge! Everything worked perfectly. We would/will absolutely stay here again!"

"Nice location, great view. Only two concerns. First was that it sometimes took days to get a response from the host, although it got better closer to check in. Second was that we discovered only after our first night that all the windows but one had been left unlocked before our arrival, essentially leaving the whole house unsecured."
