Metz centre ville

The apartment is centrally located and has a full kitchen and a lot of light (and heat on hot days). Cons: The furniture in the LR and DR takes up a lot of space, and one reaches the bathroom by going through the bedroom. The kitchen needs a coffee machine and a toaster. There was noisy construction under the apartment for the 8 weeks of our stay. On the plus side, the hosts are very nice, the apartment has a washing machine, and the building has an elevator.

Beautiful appartment in the heart of Metz / Bel appartement au cœur de Metz

English review: This is an excellent apartment for a couple or small family. It is located in a building with mainly doctors' offices, so there is very little noise from neighbors inside the complex. The entire apartment has a stylish design and feels very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything to create a basic meal and there is a dining room table that seats four people. With such a large bedroom, the bed could be larger. We had understood from the Web site that there would be a washing machine, but it is only if you rent for more than 15 days. You must mouse over the word "washing machine" to see this detail. We used the large drying rack and the shower to wash our clothes. If you are not used to living in a large city with a pedestrian zone, you should know that people walk around in the street until early in the morning. There are moments when pedestrians yell or play music loudly. If you are sleeping with the windows open, you may be woken up at 2 am. I recommend this apartment!

Lage top, Sauberkeit der Wohnung unterirdisch

Fangen wir mal mit dem Positiven an: Die Lage der Wohnung ist wirklich hervorragend, mitten im Zentrum und alles was man so erwartert incl. diverser Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig zu erreichen. Das war es aber dann auch schon mit dem Positiven. Ich miete seit ca. 30 Jahren Wohnungen für meinen Urlaub, aber so etwas habe ich in dieser Zeit noch nicht gesehen. Das Badezimmer ist in den letzten Jahren mit Sicherheit nicht einmal gründlich geputzt worden. Schimmel und Kalkreste wohin man guckt, Haare in der Dusche und auf dem Boden, der aber schön dekoriert mit Badeteppichen ist, die wahrscheinlich noch nie eine Waschmaschine gesehen haben. Zahnpastareste im Waschbecken und versiffte Spiegel runden das Bild ab. Von den Resten in der Microwelle und dem Backofen könnte man satt werden, wenn man denn Aasfresser ist. Der Kühlschrank war OK. Im Gegensatz zu den Bildern, gibt es auf dem Balkon weder einen Tisch, noch Stühle und auch keine Blumen. Auch die Couch sieht anders aus als auf den Bildern, ich erspare mir mal die Details. Eine Luxuswohnung ist das mit Sicherheit nicht.

Holiday weekend in a college town.

Our VRBO host was easy to reach and flexible with our check in. We weren’t aware of what a holiday (Ascension Day)in Metz was going to be like, so we were educated. But that’s what travel is all about. The college kids were blowing off steam late into the night. No problem if you don’t have any responsibility the next day; sleep in. The proximity of the apartment to all the cool stuff was basically a block away. We tried each of the bars/cafes and they were great. The building is super quiet since most of it seems to have doctors offices. We felt very secure and were totally pleased with the choice of staying here. Thank you Sofia for a lovely flat!

Appartement parfaitement situé et agréable

Séjour très agréable dans cet appartement pratique et parfaitement situé. La machine à laver n'est pas disponible contrairement indiqué dans le descriptif de l'annonce (laverie à proximité) et parfois la rue piétonne peut être un peu bruyante mais cela reste négligeable et les propriétaires font le nécessaire pour vous rendre le séjour agréable. À louer sans problème pour un long ou court séjour.

Absolutely perfect stay in Metz for my family and me

This apartment is in a perfect location, is perfectly functional and my family (wife, child and me) were utterly satisfied with our 30 day stay there. The owners are maximally cordial and have been available to us whenever we needed help. You can't miss much when you are in the heart of a city that is about to become a UNESCO heritage site - however, when the owners are so nice to assist you with every need, the stay becomes magical. I am so thankful and am looking forward to our future trips to Metz.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Metz

We recently spent a week in this large apartment and found it to be exactly as advertised. The living area is large and comfortable, as is the bedroom. All the kitchen appliances and utensils were in good, clean condition. The shower was much larger than a typical European shower with plenty of hot water. Located close to shopping, groceries, restaurants and tourist sites. Discounted parking is close by at the cathedral. Madame Sirielle was very helpful and friendly. A pleasant stay and highly recommended.
