"The rooftop pool, breakfast area and restaurant make the property a standout. The buffet breakfast has so many top quality options and having breakfast with a view of the city including the Acropolis makes the start of the day so special. We also used the Metro which is just steps outside of the property. A great stay!"

"A number of hotels located on or near the seaside get eroded which is what’s happening here. Upscale hotels would constantly maintain the property not sure that’s happening here The grouting in the shower looked rusty. Beds were comfortable but the sound proofing was next to none. I could hear everything in the room above me and in the people walking and or talking in the corridor which woke me a few times The staff were lovely Overall I’d say this is a 3 star hotel not 4 star. It was probably 4 star when it first opened"

Divani Palace Acropolis

"Good location near Acropolis with a wonderful rooftop bar & restaurant - but not a luxury hotel despite the price. The so-called acropolis view room required standing on the edge of a very hot balcony to see the fabled structure. Breakfast buffet a bit steep at 32 euros - all in for ‘American buffet’. In contrast the rooftop was delightful with excellent service and food. Administratively, be cautious. A ‘pay at the hotel booking’ on Expedia was disregarded by the hotel (they charged my entire stay several days prior to arrival) - and then cancelled the booking in Expedia! This caused needless concern and local colleagues had to intervene to confirm the status of my booking. The staff at reception neglected to request a deposit for incidentals so they wouldn’t deliver laundry until I went to reception to pay - after a strongly worded phone call they did what every other in the world does: deliver the laundry and then handle billing upon checkout. On the plus side, staff were dispatched quickly when there was a request. Mixed review. Positives are the staff, rooftop and responsiveness. Negatives stated above."
