Do not pay for this place or use Expedia. This hotel is closed and has been for quite some time even though they continue to collect through Expedia.

The property is closed. We paid for this over Expedia, rented a car, only to find that the property is closed. We had to scramble to find another place to stay for the night. If you call the phone number in the property description, you’ll get a message that the number doesn’t exist.

i liked the quietness and calm of the property. I did not like that i had to carry my heavy luggage to the room. The trails to the room are gravel and I cannot "drag" or "wheel" my luggage.

Buena atención del personal

La atención del personal fue muy buena, el inconveniente es que no hay botellas de agua en la habitación, y además está muy cerca de la carretera donde hay mucho tránsito de vehículos, mucho ruido. El menú es muy reducido en los alimentos. En la habitación sobre la cama cayeron del techo un alacrán de color negro y una lagartija chiquita.

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Restaurant um 19.30 Uhr geschlossen obwohl bis 20.30 Uhr offen dran stand. Frühstück war auch erst gegen 8.30 Uhr möglich. Keine Versorgung in der näheren Umgebung möglich.

Beautiful Hotel

Nice location to access cenotes. The hotel is peaceful and beautiful. The rooms can do with an upgrade and perhaps a more flexible restaurant schedule would be nice since there are no other options for breakfast and dinner nearby.

Schöne Basis für die Besichtigung von Mayapan

Wir fanden es sehr entspannend als Zwischenstopp von Izamal kommend. Die sehenswerten Ruinen von Mayapan liegen sehr nahe.

Tuvimos una muy mala experiencia, ya que el hotel no cuenta con comunicacion al exterior, los taxistas no ubican el hotel, no tienen telefono de taxis, alguna emergencia y no cuantan con NADA

Interesting place

The property is beautifully landscaped with pools and a sweat lodge. This hotel is really a set of mud and straw casitas with thatched roofs. While that sounds a bit rustic, the rooms were comfortable except there was no air conditioning. That was fine in December, but I imagine it would be quite uncomfortable in summer.

Agradable estancia

Falta más señalización y visibilidad al anuncio del hotel sobre la carretera, especialmente si se llega de noche. Es sensacional que las habitaciones tengan hamacas dentro, sin embargo podrían colocarla en otra ubicación de la habitación que permita mecerse y principalmente que le de la curvatura correcta a la hamaca para que resulte cómoda. Sin duda falta una zona de hamacas también en el exterior para poder disfrutar el sol en hamaca al exterior de la habitación. Por lo demás recomendable el hotel. Si considero que es un poco elevado el precio de las habitaciones (a diferencia del restaurante que es rico y de precio conveniente), pero agradable en general.
