"The staff is amazing…all local Mayans from Tekit. The pool, grounds, architecture and design, lighting and jungle-manicured landscaping was carefully designed by professionals. They have cenotes and ancient caves on their vast property…so lots to explore. Their food was outstanding as well. I would say the only downside for us was they were reroofing the area above the restaurant above the pool area and the smell was so overwhelming, we could not enjoy the pool at all."

"Next time, and there will be a next time, I will start here with my Merida visit. A 400-year-old hacienda, beautiful grounds, gorgeous bedroom furnished with antique furnishings and fixtures, an honor system well-stocked fridge with beer and Cokes, and two very interesting proprietors, I missed out on not staying here more than my last night in the city. And, it was 5 minutes away from the Tren Maya. They gave me a ride to my train with last minute notice. I can't wait to come back here."

"This property is very nice, the bedrooms are beautiful and the pool area lovely and very clean all round. We found there wasn’t much to do/see compared to other hacienda properties we’ve been to. No complaints on food or staff either, food was very good and excellent service staff. Just not a place we would return to for the price it costs. "
