River Song - A nature retreat in Warburton
Tucked away in the lush greenery of Warburton, River Song is a peaceful retreat nestled beside the Yarra. The modernised 100-year-old cottage sits on spacious, private grounds filled with fern trees, mature plantings, and a garden with the same hundred-year heritage. It’s a feast for all the senses: the sound of running water from the creek, filtered forest light, fresh mountain air, and abundant birdlife.
This is a home that invites you to slow down, unclench your shoulders, and reconnect with what matters. It’s the perfect hideaway for nature lovers, art lovers… or just lovers. ;)
The artist owner uses the property as both a studio and muse, with original artworks displayed throughout. An artist residency program is in development, but for now you are warmly welcome to sketch, paint, write, or create to your heart’s content while staying at River Song.

Beautiful River Song...a haven by the river

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We relaxed completely at River Song. The river is just steps away and it is only a short walk into town. The deep spa bath was a highlight and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Di was beyond helpful and so delightful to deal with.

Restful Sanctuary

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Riversong cottage exceeded our expectations. Its cosy, beautifully decorated and the owner has gone the extra mile into making the space a spiritual haven. We felt at home. The location is great with the Yarra River just across the road, and within walking distance to the main town of Warburton with its quaint cafes and shops. Kitchen is very well stocked with all you'll ever need and the beds are super comfortable and excellent quality. We will definitely be back, highly recommend.

Warburton one night

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely old house renovated very well. A few odd improvements are required which I have passed on directly to the management company, but apart from that all good. Heating (winter stay) was good. Very tight to get through the front gates, and a 6 point turn to get around again at the top (unless you want to reverse all the way which is not recommended).
