    Meko is a lovely, contemporary house in an exceptional location for a visit to Melbourne. Nestled in a quiet leafy street, yet a short stroll to the adored Lygon Street Carlton, bursting with cosmopolitan cafes, restaurants, shops and cinemas. Very close to Melbourne University. Walk or take a short ride in a tram or bus to the city.

    You are very welcome to enquire about 2 night bookings, but we cannot always accommodate short bookings.

    Strictly no parties, gatherings, or events are allowed at the accommodation. Excessive noise in the immediate area of the accommodation including the street, garden and balconies will also not be tolerated. Violation of this rule will lead to your rental being terminated with no refund of fees. We hope you can understand the reasons for this. The survival of short term rentals as a viable accommodation option is dependent on visitors respecting the people living in the neighbouring properties.

The host was so very welcoming and could not have done more to make our stay such a fantastic experience- thank you Katarina. The location is perfect 10min tram ride into the heart of the city-Melbourne and a 5 min walk from the home to the best restaurants on Lygon street. I cannot see how anyone could be unhappy staying here.

Lovely property in a great location - Highly recommended

Meko is perfectly set up and offers a lovely base to explore Melbourne. Close enough to walk into the city, but in the midst of lovely bars and restaurants in Carlton. The property is nicely scaled with all the amenities you need and even a lovely balcony to sit out on. Really enjoyed it the space with Katrina being very helpful when contacted.

Melbourne heaven

This property is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in and we travel a lot using this type of website. The actual property is gorgeous with every possible need catered for. We have never had the variety of utensils and products available and really appreciated the welcome pack left for us. Located in the quieter Carlton area but with restaurant and the tram literally 150 yards from the front door. Don't bring a large car it won't fit in the garage but you really don't need one. Thank you again.

A Gem...5 Plus experience

The 4 of us encountered Cyclone Kirrily on our trip and had to do an about face with our plans. Contacted Katrina and were able to add extra days ahead of our booking with a couple of quick emails. The condo's 2 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms were equally appointed and suited each couple completely. We couldn't help but notice how many touches there were to make the stay easier for travelers. We loved the vibe of the neighborhood with its places to eat and shop. We used the tram pretty much every day and the location of a station a few blocks away made it easy to get around. We made a couple of outreach calls to Katrina and knew we had a friend nearby. We feel so lucky to have found a gem like Meko in our search for places to stay in Melbourne.

Lovely flat with great management

We stayed at the Meko house for three days and wished we had had longer. Terrific location just a half block from Lygon St but relatively quiet nonetheless (for a student neighborhood). Tram at end of block to get anywhere in town. The flat is bright and comfortable upstairs. Downstairs bedroom has carpeting and heavily shuttered windows facing ground floor but serviceable as second bedroom. Good hvac, very nice well-stocked kitchenette with full-sized fridge. Good dining table, sitting area and balcony for four friends or family members. Both bathrooms good with only quirk being an unshaded window overlooking roofs and decks of other houses. As long as not standing right at window, I think not visible from them. We dealt with Katrina throughout the process and she was excellent with communications including check-in and check-out. Overall a very good experience!
