"The hotel was a short, inexpensive ride from old San Juan. The beach area was calm and great for small children but there was a lot of sargassum. We ended up taking a short Uber ride to Isla verde beach which was spectacular. The pool area gets crowded and difficult to find chairs."

"I liked the Royal Sonesta Hotel for its location on the beach, cleanliness, polite staff and overall, just a beautiful hotel. What I did not like was their parking which is across the street and there is no stop light or stop sign for pedestrians to cross the street to get to the parking lot."
