Well, the golf cart was a lot of fun too! We stayed with our 2 adult sons and were able to rent a pontoon our last day, their favorite part! "Very comfortable room. If you like your hotel in a very quiet, countryside setting this is the place for you. Restaurants are are attached and don’t have to leave at all if you don’t want to. Great family setting."

"This property worked well with our family group of 10. We had 5 adults; 4 teens and 1 10-year-old. 3 bedrooms for the adults; the media room with flexible futons for the teen girls; and another room with futons for the 2 guys (1 teen and 1 10-yr-old). We set up a folding table in the open kitchen for more dining space. The 3 bathrooms were great with plenty of towels for daily showers and plenty of hot water! Outdoor space was great with 2 docks, boat ramp, fire pit and much more. My husband's grandparents had a cottage on Lake Shafer when he was growing up and this place helped us create the same kind of memory-making opportunity in 2024 that my hubby had when he was a kid. We spent 1 day at Indiana Beach Amusement Park and would highly recommend! The host was very attentive and was quick to respond to questions. It was a great stay... and we would seriously consider a return visit!"
