Mabel and Harry's, a modern country guest house

Mabel and Harry's guest house is situated in the pristine rural beauty of the Indiana countryside. This historic colonial farmhouse has been renovated into a luxury retreat. A mix of the old and the new: original architectural features and ultra HD TVs; an induction cooktop and a speckled enamelware kettle; antique nightstands and highest quality bamboo sheets and bedding. The house was designed with the intention that our guests will experience the quiet elegance of this country getaway.

Everything is of the highest quality with thought out excellence! Home away from home.

The owners have spent a lot of time on the details of making this rental house a home. The lighting, decor, comfortable living areas and bedrooms are perfection. I am already planning my next trip.

Perfect home

We found Mabel and Harry’s guesthouse on vrbo, we were thrilled with the home. The farmhouse is beautiful, plenty of space for our family of 10 to spread out, beds super comfortable and Janny’s attention to detail is amazing! The sunsets each night off the back deck were beautiful we will definitely be back!

Christmas stay

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Delicious cake, food and drink upon arrival. So nice not to have to go to the grocery immediately. Perfect for our family visiting family for Christmas. Great communications. We didn’t want to leave. Best accommodations in Kokomo.. We will be back.

Beautiful Home!

We were in the area for a family funeral, and this was the perfect location to come back to. Beautifully kept and managed, the host was amazing. We are so thankful for the warm hospitality.

This was our 2nd time staying at this amazing home. We celebrated family Christmas in the house which was decorated amazingly. The best place we’ve ever stayed from communication to accommodation's.

We enjoyed our weekend stay so much. Our hostess went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The house is lovely and accommodating. Very clean and well appointed. We all agreed that we need to plan a longer stay next time!

Beautiful home in a serene location!

We loved our stay at Mabel & Harry's farmhouse! They've created such a lovely and relaxing space with fantastic attention to details and amenities from the home decor to the s'mores supplies to use at the fire table or fire pit outside. This was our second stay, and we'll definitely be back!

Wedding Weekend

We booked the farmhouse several months ago when my son and his fiance decided to get married in Kokomo. The house was the perfect size for the eight of us and Janny was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend staying, if not for the accomidations, then for the brilliant sunsets.

More than I expected - perfection!

This place is wonderful, we completely enjoyed our short time here and wish we could have stay longer. Everything about this place is exceptional. Clean and full of amenities Plenty of room and glorious sunset! we took advantage of the gas fire pit on the deck and talked the night away. We're already planning another trip where we can stay a few nights.

Maybe our favorite vacation rental ever!!

Beautiful 1820’s farmhouse with super comfortable, modern furnishings. We loved how clean it was. The kids loved the games and the yard. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. So relaxing. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Amazing property for gathering!

We loved our stay at the guesthouse! Everything was beautifully prepared and the hosts thought of everything we might need...including coffee, creamers, and a delicious cake. What a treat! We used this as a place to have a small work retreat and found it to be a lovely experience. If I am ever looking for a stay in the Kokomo area, I will be back. Thank you so much!

Wedding Weekend

My husband and I stayed at Mabel and Harry’s for a long weekend while celebrating our son’s wedding. This place is AMAZING! Absolutely beautiful home and my family enjoyed every minute. We loved all the space and my kids loved the outdoor seating. The kitchen has everything and the host surprised us with treats from the area. This place does not disappoint! It’s an absolutely gorgeous home!!

This is a beautiful guest house in a peaceful location surrounded by farmland. The decor is delightful; the property is immaculately presented and impeccably clean. The host is highly responsive and helpful to questions, and incredibly thoughtful in their approach to making this property outstanding. When our travels next take us to Indiana, Harry and Mabel's Guest House will be our first stop.

AMAZING!

This was the most relaxing atmosphere in the home and outside of the home. It was clean and comfortable. I will most definitely rent this again in the future. The host is absolutely wonderful with all her extra touches, like for instance a decorated cake waiting for us in the refrigerator!

Weekend Wedding

We had a beautiful stay. Everything about the guest house is thought out, from lighting to ambiance. It is a space created for relaxing and catching up with family or friends. We were in town for our nephews wedding and the owners left us items for a delicious breakfast and a sweet treat from a local bakery. It feels like home and is beautiful inside and out! Thanks again.
