"difficult check in with 2 young kids who were tired after 3 hours' drive, arrived 2:45 PM and requested Ealy check-in, was told that room was not ready and asked me to wait, i saw there was a big line and everyone else was getting room key who arrived around the same time. room was congested; Sofa bed was not comfortable and extra sheets and blanket were not provided. Overall, not so great experience. Btw , I am a HH memember. "

"The rooms were clean, the breakfast was one of the best free continental breakfast, and the location is just a short drive from everything. However, we got there two hours after check-in opened and our room still wasn’t ready. We had to wait almost 45 minutes. When we were checking in, they told us the pool would not be open until later in the evening because the heating element was out. They replaced the heating element and we were able to swim around 8:45 PM. However, there were at least five or six kids unsupervised in the pool area being very reckless around my children, and the pool was obviously ice cold. Then starting around 10:30 PM, the fire alarms started to go off. They gave three different stories of what was causing it and the managers refused to come in and help the two front staff clerks. It took almost an hour for them to figure out and the alarms kept randomly going off. They went off at least five times. It was the new pool heating element short-circuiting somewhere. The managers couldn’t care less about the stress it was causing guests and of course refusing any sort of compensation unless you checked out to go somewhere else at 1130pm and it was only possibly a “partial refund.”"

"The jets didn't work and lights flickered so we moved rooms. Room #2 lampshade had mildew and hanging loose, tub had a pair of large open cracks, there were stains in the carpet and the cooling unit rattled loudly. Staff was great but it doesn't make up for the terrible food and run down appearance of the property. The hot tub and pool were both closed. One of the staff was screaming at someone from inside a housekeeping marked room around 10pm friday night. Expensive mistake. "

"Atmosphere was great, staff was friendly. Dining space a little crowded during happy hour/dinner. Smaller space I feel. But great service all around!"
