The Dalai Lama's residence draws pilgrims to this Himalayan town where Tibetan culture thrives in monasteries and markets. Hike to nearby Triund for mountain views, or take cooking classes to master momos while monks debate philosophy at Namgyal Monastery.
The team at Hyatt have been amazing. My partner rolled her ankle near the top of Triund and the hotel arranged for her to be stretchered off the mountain and taken straight to hospital for x-rays. The staff have been most attentive and concerned for her wellbeing. Really impressed!! Thank you .. thank you

This is my favourite hotel in McLeod Ganj. It's about a 5 minute walk from the main bazaar, located in a wooded area that's quiet and has spectacular views of Mt. Dhauladhar and the valley. The rooftop restaurant has some of the best views in the area, and the food is good. Lots of variety, and everything I had was well prepared. It has a surprisingly well equipped gym, probably the best I've seen in a hotel. New and high quality equipment, free weights and aerobic things like treadmills and...

The owner was very helpful. I had a great room with a mountain view but no sun and it was cold, so the owner offered an alternate sunny warm room which was great.
Fantastic hot wayer :)

I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and offered a nice view. The staff was very friendly and helpful which made the stay even better. Room service was quick and everything I ordered tasted great — really fresh and well-prepared. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights, with plenty of variety and different items every day, which kept it interesting. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I’d recommend to others.

We picked Fortune Park Moksha because it was the only 4-star property in the area and surrounds. The property is perched on a mountain side with expansive views of the valley below on one side and of snow-capped peaks on the other! For a 4-star hotel, it lacked some of the luxury elements and there was some construction noise on top of our room that disturbed our baby but the one thing that surprised us was how amazing the service was! The staff would not say no to any of our requirements....

I had the pleasure of spending two months at Greenwoods Inn, and I cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for.
The manager, Ragish, was outstanding—super patient, considerate, and incredibly professional. He made sure that everything I needed was taken care of with a kind and thoughtful approach. The receptionist, Messo, was equally amazing, always greeting me with a smile and ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. And...
