"Wonderful stay! Great location—close to everything but nice and quiet. Staff were very kind, friendly, & helpful. I got a room with a balcony and Mountain View’s which was wonderful. I enjoyed watching the birds & monkeys! And breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend and would happily stay there again,"

"We had an amazing stay at the resort. The property is beautifully maintained, with clean and spacious rooms offering a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were courteous, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The food was delicious, The amenities, including gardens, and recreational activities, were well maintained and enjoyable for both adults and children. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time . "The staff were so helpful and really looked after us. Even quickly giving me a seperate room to my friend very late at night, when she was really ill and needed space. The location is also stunning. I would recommend Chonor House. Thanks."

"Stay was excellent but restaurant services was not good.on 21.5.26 evening dessert gulabjamun khoya tested burnt and icecream was sticky. On 22/23.5.26 morning breakfast had to wait half an hour for tea otherwise service was good"

"Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect. Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start. Overall, a simple, peaceful stay with great views and good food. "
