This place completely exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The layout was perfect for pets, making it easy and stress-free to travel with our dog. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!
This is a beautiful place to stay! The house is spacious and clean. Everything I thought of that I wanted or needed was there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking any meal you can think of. The beds were comfortable. And the host was quick to respond and very accommodating to a couple of special requests we had. I will recommend this place to friends and family anytime!
We enjoyed our time at this home. Very spacious for our family, we especially enjoyed the back sunroom. It was close to all the Massanutten activities which allowed us to minimize driving time.
Bear den had a great location, close to recreation and restaurants. The house was clean, fully stocked and felt like home. I'd recommend bear den to friends, family.
Wonderful location with lots to do in the area.
House was very comfortable.
Really enjoyed relaxing on the back deck drinking coffee nestled in the trees.
We had a great time! Fantastic location in the mountains, loved the hot tub and views from the deck. Everything was well stocked and super clean, and best part is the beds were so comfy! I would definitely recommend this home for anyone looking to stay in Massanutten or near Harrisonburg.
We stayed at this property for parents weekend at JMU. We enjoyed this property so much. The place was clean and cozy. It was very convenient to JMU. Leah was a great host and was very responsive to any texts. We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for a few days of skiing at Massanutten - while the snow was somewhat lacking, the Bear Den was awesome. Plenty of room for games, hot tubbing, gathering. Would definitely come back.
We took a family vacation to visit Massanutten resort, Virginia safari drive through and luray caverns. Every activity was an easy drive from the house. The house was clean, comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed having the space and the hot tub . We had a great vacation.
Stayed a few days in the Massanutten area to enjoy fall activities in Virginia. This home was centrally located to the places we wanted to explore. It more than met our needs, as it felt very homey, comfortable, and quiet. The jacuzzi felt good on sore muscles after biking and hiking, and the amenities of the home were just fine. I would definitely stay here again when I next come back to this area.
The property was clean and well-appointed. It had lots of space for our family of four to spread out. The hot tub was wonderful, and the convenience of being just a few minutes from the waterpark and ski slopes was amazing. The hosts were gracious with early checkin and late checkout, which was an added bonus. We would definitely return to the property!
The house was exactly what we needed. It was perfectly clean and the manager is very easy to communicate with. We especially loved the outdoor grill and hot tub which was very well maintained. 10/10
My elderly mother probably made her last trip with us - she is failing fast. We were so comfortable. The views out the back are serene and the beds heavenly. Mom especially enjoyed the gas fireplace. Hopefully we will be back.
