Breakfast is worth it. 1st floor executive suite is an oversized room with a king sized Murphy bed, which we didn’t like at 60years old. Parking is third party and there is no guidance with app, which is also used for event parking. We were overcharged by $140 for the first day which was less than 13 hours.

Great location

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We visited the bar and restaurant and both were great!

I know this is a historic building, and it’s got plenty of charm and character. What I didn’t like was my room was on the 3rd floor and I paid extra to have a balcony view. The balcony was completely enclosed, windows were filthy and barely opened, on a 95 degree day its a hot box and miserable to use. The ceiling was old wood beams that were painted. There were some boards that look like they were hanging by a screw ready to fall down at any time. The paint was peeling like crazy off the ceiling and I thought, I better not sleep with my mouth open or i’ll end up choking on a paint chip. The bathroom brick had holes where guests shoved TP in the cracks, nice. It smelled musty and old (historic?) and the rooftop bar was conveniently over our room and loud. Also construction starting before 7am on the roof. But hey, the beds were comfy and the ac was cold. I won’t be staying here again as it’s not the “luxury” I was looking for.
