"This rental was the perfect starting point for some hiking I wanted to do in the area. Mt Rogers (tallest peak in Va) is close by, as are The Channels, which was my focus for this trip. This place can easily host 3-4 people, maybe even 5 if one wants to sleep on the couch. The beds were the best feature, super comfortable, best sleep of my life. You do have to climb up ladders to get to them, they're loft style, but I'd crawl over broken glass to get back to them. There is a sink, a mini fridge...

"We had a lovely stay! The creek and the area is beautiful. Lots of firewood was provided so we sat out with a fire both evenings and really enjoyed cooking on the pellet grill. Our dog had a great time. We were cozy warm inside and enjoyed hearing the creek at night. There were people staying at the campsite nearby one night and they were great neighbors. Lots of various provisions already there and everything you might need to cook."
