Tastefully decorated, comfortable cottage

This is a very comfortable and attractive property. It is well placed for biking on the New River Trail and for stargazing, as it is on the top of a small hill. The living room is spacious and four people could comfortably stay here.

Perfect getaway

Such a quaint and unique place! It had everything we needed, including all of the cooking gear to prepare meals with our friends after spending a day out on the bike trails. Enjoyed the Firepit and the warm, comfortable beds. And don’t forget the WOW sunrise!!! Loved this place and look forward to visiting again!

Our dogs love the super thick grass in the nice yard. (Pix attached). It is great to throw the ball and burn off some energy after a long day of driving. The home and property are well cared for and well-equipped. The location is highway close for convenience, but you would never know it looking out over the meadow and mountains, from the yard, and hearing only the red-winged blackbirds singing to each other.

Great weekend at The Dairy Barn

We had a wonderful family weekend at The Dairy Barn in Hillsville. Rebecca was an outstanding host. She gave us lots of helpful information and answered messages promptly. The cabin was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Great outdoor space in the backyard with a nice view. We highly recommend this rental.

A slice of heaven!

My husband and I chose The Dairy Barn for a short getaway for my birthday. The property was immaculate! We got to see an amazing sunrise and made friends with the cows in the nearby field. The cabin itself is exactly like the pictures. Everything was well appointed, and the bed was so comfortable that we’re trying to find out the brand to get one of our own! The cabin was squeaky clean and we felt right at home. We hope to stay again in the future! Thank you for offering such an amazing place for us to call home for a few days! Nichole & Bryan M
